Spring Blooms - NEW YouTube Channel - Local Seed & Plant Exchanges - Design & Color Theory

Happy First Day of Spring! Crocuses are some of our first blooms here in Rhode Island and a bright and warm welcoming of Spring. I was delighted to see these beauties in Little Compton, RI and even more so to see the happy bees.

Spring is officially here and I am so excited to announce our 2021 gardening season has begun.

Revive Home & Garden is celebrating our third year creating functional and enjoyable outdoor spaces (with a big emphasis on gardens) in Rhode Island. This year we are excited to share more of the work that we do with you through our new monthly newsletter and YouTube Channel.

Garden Design Tip of the Month

When I am designing a garden I feel like an artist creating a living painting. My garden designs are full of varying colors, textures, shapes, and sizes that harmonize with each other. Each are selected and integrated to invoke a certain feeling when viewing and experiencing the garden.

Selecting the color palette for your garden is a key part of the garden design process and determining how the garden will make you feel. Color selection can be intuitive but it is also a science and an art. Above is a video by Sarah Renae Clark that explains the basics of Color Theory very well.

In the future we will also be offering her Color Catalog Bundle and Color Theory Workbook for sale on our website. The Color Catalog provides 250 color palettes for Creative Color Inspiration. The Color Theory Workbook provides a deeper understanding of Color Theory.
